This Privacy Policy explains how RightRefer, registered under Tournahub Solutions Private Limited, collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our website, application and related services.

Information we collect

Account and sign-in information

When you create an account or sign in through a provider such as Google or LinkedIn, we may receive information that the provider makes available with your permission. This can include your name, email address, profile picture and provider account identifier. The provider's consent screen shows the information requested before you continue.

Profile and service information

We collect information you add while using RightRefer, such as your company, role, career details, job preferences, alert preferences, referral requests, job links, resume, selected referrers, referral status, support messages and information provided for a dispute.

Payments and payouts

If you use optional appreciation, refund or payout features, we and our payment providers process the information needed to complete and record the transaction. Payment providers may collect payment-card, bank-account or UPI details under their own privacy policies. We may receive transaction references, status and related records.

Technical and usage information

We may collect device, browser, IP address, log, security and usage information. We also use cookies or local storage where needed for sign-in, security, preferences and site operation.

How we use information

• Provide, operate and improve RightRefer.
• Authenticate accounts and keep them secure.
• Match and deliver referral requests to the people selected for them.
• Show request status and send service, security and support communications.
• Process optional appreciation, refunds, payouts and disputes.
• Prevent fraud, abuse and violations of our Terms of Service.
• Meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

Google user data

When you choose Google Sign-In, RightRefer uses the Google account information you authorize only to authenticate you, create or link your account, show your account identity, secure the service and provide support. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed for the following purposes:

• Other members: Referral request details go to the insiders selected for the request. Only the insider who accepts can access the full resume.
• Service providers: Vendors may process data for hosting, authentication, analytics, communications, payments, security and customer support under instructions from us.
• Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably needed to protect users, RightRefer or others.
• Business changes: Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information.

Data retention and deletion

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We may keep some records longer when required for security, fraud prevention, disputes, payments, tax, accounting or legal compliance.

You can request account and personal-data deletion by emailingrightrefer.team@gmail.com from the email address connected to your account. We may need to verify your identity. Deleting your RightRefer account does not delete information held independently by Google or another sign-in provider.

Your choices

You can review or update information available in your account, change optional alert preferences and disconnect RightRefer from your Google Account settings. You may also contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee complete security, so protect your credentials and contact us if you believe your account has been misused.

Children

RightRefer is not directed to children who are too young to enter a binding contract in their location. Do not use the service if you do not meet that age requirement.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
