Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of RightRefer, a service registered under Tournahub Solutions Private Limited. By accessing or using RightRefer, you agree to these terms and ourPrivacy Policy.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter a binding contract where you live. You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity on your account and must tell us if you suspect unauthorised use.

Signing in through Google, LinkedIn or another provider authenticates the account. It does not verify a member's employer, title, employment history or authority to make a referral.

What RightRefer provides

RightRefer helps members request professional referrals, choose whether to refer candidates, and discover job openings. A referral is an introduction, not a guarantee of an interview, offer or other outcome. Employers make their own hiring decisions.

Referrers must follow their employer's referral, confidentiality and conflict-of-interest policies. RightRefer does not authorise anyone to act against an employer's rules.

Your responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

• Provide false, misleading or unauthorised profile, employment or referral information.
• Upload a resume or other content unless you have the right to share it.
• Impersonate another person or create accounts for deceptive purposes.
• Harass users, send spam, scrape the service or misuse another person's information.
• Bypass security, interfere with the service or use automated access without permission.
• Use RightRefer for unlawful, discriminatory, fraudulent or abusive activity.

Requests, referrals and disputes

You decide what information to include in a request and whom to ask. A referrer decides whether to accept a request and whether they can make a referral. Referral deadlines, confirmation windows and dispute steps shown in the application apply to each request.

We may request information or evidence needed to review a dispute. You agree to provide honest and relevant information. RightRefer may resolve a dispute based on the available records and the rules shown in the application.

Optional appreciation, refunds and payouts

A referral request can be free. A seeker may choose optional appreciation before sending a request. Appreciation does not buy a job outcome and does not require a referrer to break an employer's rules.

The application shows applicable amounts, platform fees, payment charges, refund conditions, payout eligibility and processing status. Payment and payout services may also be subject to a provider's terms. Banks and payment providers can take additional time to complete a refund or payout.

Your content and licence

You keep ownership of content you provide. You give RightRefer a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, copy and share that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service. For example, we may share request details with selected insiders and a full resume with the insider who accepts the request.

You may not upload content that infringes another person's rights, violates law or contains malicious code.

Third-party services and job information

RightRefer may link to employers, job listings, sign-in providers, payment providers and other third-party services. We do not control their services, content, availability or privacy practices. Review their terms before using them. Job information can change, so check the original listing before acting.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using RightRefer at any time. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate suspected abuse, comply with law, or enforce these terms. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect.

Service availability and disclaimers

We work to keep RightRefer useful and available, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, the accuracy of third-party job information, a successful referral, an interview or employment.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, RightRefer and Tournahub Solutions Private Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data or goodwill arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to the service or terms

We may change the service and update these terms. We will post revised terms here, update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with competent jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
